The home page counter was installed on November 22, 1995.
(If you are viewing the mirror site, the
counter was installed on January 6, 1998.)
Each year since, the main site counter has recorded some 10,000 visits to the home page from people all over the world .
In early March, 2000, we began using the Sitemeter system to track our users.
Previously, from 1997 to 1999, using Counterstats to survey some of the other pages on the site, we recorded an additional 12,000 visits each year.
From 1996 to 1997, using the Internet Audit Bureau to survey some key pages on the site showed a total of 22,000 additional accesses.
As well, a search on Alta Vista shows over 600 other sites now have links to one or more of the pages on this site.
The home page counter is provided by my ISP, Synapse Internet, and on the mirror site by Sympatico.
