The National Capital Chapter of the Canadian Association of Journalists currently has over 200 members, including members of the National Press Gallery, journalists employed by local print and broadcast media, plus freelancers who work for a wide variety of outlets.

If you would like to join the CAJ, visit our membership page. You can sign up online if you wish, or there are application forms which you can print to mail in your application.

The National Capital Chapter sponsors a number of local events each year. Those events have included professional development seminars and workshops, featuring top-notch speakers and a chance to network with experienced journalists.

We have also hosted national events, including the CAJ's Annual National Conference in 1994 and in 2002 as well as the CAJ Writer's Symposium in 1999 and in 2005.
